OPERATION: MILLSTONE is an advocacy and prevention initiative of The Guardian Initiative, dedicated to protecting children from the horrors of trafficking and exploitation. Rooted in the biblical call to defend the vulnerable, OPERATION: MILLSTONE exists to raise awareness, educate the public, and provide critical resources to help stop child trafficking before it starts.

The name OPERATION: MILLSTONE is drawn from Jesus’ sobering words in Matthew 18:6: “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” This powerful statement reflects the seriousness with which God views the protection of children and the consequences for those who harm them. It underscores our deep conviction that the abuse and exploitation of the innocent must be confronted with urgency, truth, and justice.

This project focuses on the safety, security, rehabilitation, and education of children who have been trafficked or removed from high-risk environments. By equipping individuals, churches, and communities with accurate information and actionable tools, OPERATION: MILLSTONE empowers everyday advocates to be a voice for the voiceless.

Through a curated collection of global trafficking statistics, government and NGO reports, national and international help lines, and connections to frontline organizations, we help people understand the scope of the crisis—and how they can be part of the solution. Prevention begins with awareness, and awareness must lead to action.
